Easy Summer Entertaining Ideas
I have a passion for entertaining all year long, but I particularly love summer entertaining. During the warm summer months, I love to fire up the grill and invite friends over for casual backyard BBQs.
One of my favorite tips for outdoor entertaining is to have easy-to-access stations where guests can help themselves to whatever they need.
When it comes to parties I’m a big fan of any type of bar, from my hot dog bar to a refreshing lemonade bar, but I think this patriotic Italian Soda Bar is so much fun that it’s quickly becoming my favorite, especially for summer entertaining! Plus, these fruit drinks are the perfect complement to the simple summer foods we all know and love.
How to Make an Italian Soda
If you are looking for a fun way to serve drinks at your next summer BBQ or 4th of July celebration, try having an Italian Soda Bar. It’s so easy to create this big-impact idea, and everyone will love it!
Start by setting up a designated drink station with all of your supplies. I used a vintage desk to set out all the ingredients and a vintage wagon as a cooler for the club sodas and other drinks (I had a cooler of ice off to the side with ice for the drinks).
