How to Make Color Block Flower Pot
It is easy to transform a simple terra cotta pot into a work of art with just a few simple steps.
Start by painting the terra cotta white. Let the first coat dry and then paint a second coat and let that dry.
Once the white coat of paint is dry use the painters’ tape to tape off your design. I created a color block pattern with intersecting triangles.
Use the Blue Bahama Patio Paint to paint the first color block section.
Next, use the black paint to create a modern brushstroke design inside of the next triangle section.
Now, to paint a coordinating color, I used Sunshine Yellow, in the intersecting triangle next to the two already painted sections.
Carefully remove the tape to reveal your color block design.
Add a colorful flower or plant to your cheerful flower pot.
Elevate your flower pot with a modern plant stand. I used the Wrought Iron Black Patio Paint to create a bold contrast with the colorful pot.
