Recently I planned a Bee-utiful Bee themed party and made these cute DIY Hexagon Bee Coasters with Cricut Maker.
Have you ever started planning a party and realized you can’t find exactly what you want? It seems like it always happens, I have a vision of exactly what I want but then I can’t find it. This is why I love my Cricut Maker.
If you’ve been around awhile, you know how much I love using my Cricut Maker to create everything from home decor to party decorations. One of the reasons I love it so much is that you can customize and personalize your party decor and turn ordinary supplies into an extraordinary celebration.
It’s easy to create personalized invitations, party favors, and decorations with the Cricut Maker for any celebration. I made these personalized coasters and place cards for our Queen Bee party in less than 30 minutes, here’s how you can too!

DIY Hexagon Bee Coaster Directions
Start by opening up the Hexagon Bee Coaster SVG file in Design Space. Click on “Make It” to begin cutting the project pieces.
Once you have all the project pieces cut, weed the vinyl image with the Cricut weeding tool.
Place transfer tape on top of the hexagon honeycomb design and transfer to the acrylic hexagon coaster.
Peel back the transfer tape to reveal the design and repeat the same steps with the remaining project pieces.
If you want to use this same design as a place card, cut out the names of each guest in vinyl with your favorite font (I used Bromello) and place it on the acrylic hexagon.
That’s all there is to it, a quick and easy project that you can personalize in less than 30 minutes. Don’t they make the cutest little coasters? Pair them with a refreshing glass of lemonade for the perfect party drink.
If you are planning a bee-utiful brunch these also make the perfect place cards. I love using place cards for dinner parties or special occasions. I think they are the perfect way to make your guest feel extra special. Plus it helps easy the awkward situation of where everyone should sit.
I even think you could turn this same design into a darling party favor bag as well, the possibilities are endless with the Cricut Maker. Make sure you check out the Bee-utiful Bee themed party to see all of the things I made with the Cricut Maker, you’ll be buzzing with excitement to get started creating your own personalized party decor!
