DIY BBQ Grillmaster Caddy Supplies
- Cricut Joy
- Cricut EasyPress 2
- Cricut Infusible Ink
- Cricut Ceramic Coasters
- Cricut Standard Grip Mat
- Cricut Iron-on Vinyl
- Six-Pack Tool Caddy
- DIY Koozie
- BBQ Tools
- Printable Father’s Day Grillin’ Tags
- Father’s Day BBQ Card SVG
- Father’s Day Coaster SVG
How to Personalize DIY BBQ Caddy
Start by opening up Cricut Design Space and the Father’s Day Coaster SVG. Resize or adjust the designs as needed. I sized mine to fit the Cricut Ceramic Coasters.
Place Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet onto the Standard Grip mat, liner side down. I used the patterned rainbow transfer sheets for my coasters.
Select browse all materials, then Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet. If you are using a Cricut Explore machine, turn the Smart Set Dial to Custom first. Don’t forget to mirror your image before cutting.
Once the image is finished cutting unload the transfer sheet and weed your design. Start by removing it from the mat and trimming away any unused areas of the sheet. Gently roll the cut design so the lines separate and are more visible.
Preheat the Cricut EasyPress 2 to 400° F. Set the timer to 240 seconds.
Use a fresh adhesive lint roller or lint cloth and wipe the surface of the coaster. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. Even tiny little fibers can create imperfections in the transfer.
Now it is time to apply the design to your Cricut Infusible Ink compatible blank, the ceramic coasters. You may need to use heat tape to secure the design to the coaster.
Place a piece of white cardstock on top of the Cricut EasyPress mat and then place the coaster design side down. Next, place a piece of the provided butcher paper on top of the coaster.
Gently place the EasyPress on top of the coaster and keep the stack as still as possible while pressing, do not slide or move your hands during transfer.
Remove the EasyPress and allow the coaster to cool completely before removing the transfer sheet to reveal your fun new coaster design.
What to Include in BBQ Caddy
Along with your custom BBQ coasters be sure to add a custom ‘King of the Grill’ koozie for dad’s cold beverage.
Every grillmaster needs a good set of tools so be sure to include everything dad will need to flip burgers and grill steaks.
Don’t forget to include dad’s favorite BBQ sauce, or better yet use this recipe to make our homemade Spicy Chipotle BBQ Sauce, it is a crowd favorite!
Complete the gift by adding a custom vinyl saying to the front of the Caddy and filling it with all of the goodies dad needs to spend the afternoon grillin’ n chillin’!
