It’s officially college football season, and we could not be more excited!!
I recently shared our breakfast tailgate party on my blog, and I’ve had several comments about my diy tailgate banner. It was so easy to make, and I loved it so much, I decided to keep it and reuse it throughout the football season.
I’m not a huge fan of paper crafting, so if I can cut out a paper cutting and crafting step, I absolutely will! This banner was cut from PhotoPlay Paper, but the text was made with Iron On!! Hooray for no gluing!
Supplies to make your own football banner:
Football Paper
Ribbon
Open this cut file, and adjust it to fit your needs. I was able to cut the entire banner from just one sheet of 12×12 paper. I also added slices I stead of holes for the ribbon to be laced through.
Next, I cut the text from Iron On. {Be sure to mirror your cut} and placed each letter on a banner. Once the letters were centered on the banner pieces, I pressed them with my EasyPress at 250* for 20-25 seconds. I used the EasyPress Mat and EasyPress Protective Sheet.
I laced the ribbon through the banner pieces and it was ready to hang on our tailgate table. This simple project took less than 15 minutes to make, but adds a great finishing touch to our tailgate table!
