Hearts are all aflutter and love is in the air! Make an express delivery and send someone you love a special valentine this Valentine’s Day. Make your own adorable DIY Valentine’s Day Candy Bar Wrapper with your Cricut.
Do you remember passing love notes to your crush in middle school? The other day my oldest daughter told us a boy in class asked her to be his girlfriend, and so it begins! It reminded me of all the silly love notes I used to write in middle school. Of course, nowadays they just text each other but it inspired me to create a fun “love note” themed valentine.
I always like to surprise my kids with a couple of fun valentines leading up to February 14th and these cute Valentine’s Day Candy Bar Wrappers seemed like the perfect treat. They were super easy to make with my Cricut and came together in less than 20 minutes.

Step 1
Open up Cricut Design Space and the Love Note Valentine’s Day Candy Bar Wrapper design file.
Step 2
Place your cardstock on the standard grip mat and load it into the machine when prompted. Select the correct material and press the flashing button to start the cutting. Remove the pieces from the mat with the Cricut spatula tool.
Step 3
Next, cut out the vinyl pieces and remove them from the mat. Use the weeding tool to weed away the excess vinyl and then place the transfer tape on each element.
Step 4
Now, it’s time to start putting your candy bar wrapper together. Start by folding the envelope on the score lines.
Step 5
Flip the envelope over to the front and carefully place the vinyl design elements on the front of the envelope.
Step 6
Place a standard-size candy bar in the inside of the letter and wrap the envelope around the bar and seal it closed with a layered paper hearts.
Step 7
Deliver your sweet love note to that special someone, and make their day! You can personalize these cute candy bar wrappers by using the Cricut Pens to draw out the recipient’s name in the top left corner. Or you could also add a personalized love note to the inside of the envelope for your recipient to discover when they take out their candy bar.

Making DIY valentine’s is even easier with the help of your Cricut. As I mentioned before I love to create a few personalized gifts I can deliver to my kids, nephews, and friends leading up to Valentine’s Day. These DIY Cricut Valentine’s are such a fun way to send your love and brighten someone’s day.
While you aren’t likely to make 30 of these to pass out to classmates at school, they really are a fun and special way to spread some love this Valentine’s Day!
