I love Halloween! Truthfully, I love from Halloween through the New Year. The changing seasons, the excitement for the holidays, and all of the fun activities. I also really love to decorate my home for each holiday. But, that can get expensive, so I try to make a lot of my holiday decorations. One of my favorites is this simple DIY Bone Appetit Halloween Kitchen Towels. They are easy and inexpensive to make. And, they make adorable hostess gifts too!
Kitchen Halloween Decorations
I needed new Halloween dish towels, so I picked up a package of flour sack towels at Walmart. They were just about $1 per towel, making them super affordable!
Next, I needed to decide on a design for the towels. I am a sucker for puns, so I thought it would be fun to make a play on the expression of Bon Appetit. I created the cutest Halloween skeleton holding a Bone Appetit sign. It is just perfect for a kitchen towel.

Step 1
Download the SVG File to your computer. It will be a compressed file.
Step 2
Upload the Bone Appetit SVG File to Cricut Design Space, and size it to fit your towels. Then, send the file to cut. Don’t forget to mirror your image and place the Iron On on the cutting mat shiny side down.
Step 3
Weed the excess Iron-On.
Step 4
Use the EasyPress to press out the wrinkles in the towel. Then, fold the towel in half and create a crease with the EasyPress. This will allow you to line up your project.
Step 5
Carefully fold the cut image in half. I only crease the carrier sheet.
Step 6
Line up the creases on the towel and Iron-On image. Then, press according to Cricut’s recommended heat settings.
That’s it! I made several in less than 30 minutes, and I have the cutest kitchen towels to give my neighbors and friends this Halloween.
