This dessert is definitely something to talk about! That’s right these Conversation Heart Parfaits are easy to make, just in time for a sweet Valentine’s Day treat everyone in your family will love.
Did you know that these sweet little confections were first invented in 1866 and have been one of the best selling candies for Valentine’s Day ever since? Even if you aren’t a big fan of these little candies I bet you can recall digging through a box trying to find the perfect saying to share. I am a big fan of mini desserts and while back while I was reorganizing my home office and party supplies I found some mini dessert cups and decided they needed to be filled with a tasty dessert.
You only need 3 ingredients to make these sweet little treats and you’ll be bringing smiles to the table in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients:
- Strawberry Instant Pudding
- Whipped Cream
- Conversation Heart Candies
Place the conversation heart candies in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to break them into smaller pieces. Mix them into the whipped cream.
Next, follow the directions on the package for the strawberry pudding and fill your mini dessert cups 1/3 of the way full with the pudding. Using a piping bag filled with the conversation heart whipped cream add a dollop on top of the pudding.
Pour another layer of pudding onto of the whipped cream and finally top with another dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle with crushed conversation heart candies.
I served these to my kids one night after dinner and they all giggled with delight and compared what their hearts said. Like I said, it’s a dessert that will have everyone talking! Do you have a favorite Valentine’s Day Candy?

What a great and easy dessert but it looks like a million bucks! Here we actually doesn’t have those heart-candys, instead, especially on valentines day we give each other soft raspberry heart-shaped candy
Mariah says
Petra, those sound delicious…actually much tastier than the conversation hearts, which I’m not a huge fan of eating but they sure are fun for Valentine’s Day! 🙂

These are really cute. What kind of whipping cream?

I just used Cool-Whip for these, but you can make your own whipping cream if you’d like.
Ashy says
Once cool, use a pencil to draw large hearts on the wax paper envelopes, and then cut out hearts. (I was surprised how easy it is to cut the wax paper with melted crayon inside.) Initially, I was going to trace prefect’s hearts, but I decided to freehand them and let my daughter cut them out.
