Last week was Spring Break here, we were lucky that we got to spend some time with Grandma & Grandpa Y. and Uncle Josh & Aunt Bethany doing some fun things. One of my favorites was our backyard camp out.
Our family loves to camp and everyone got new camp gear for Christmas, so we have all been itching to use it. The weather was BEAUTIFUL last week and perfect for a backyard camp out! (Oddly enough we got 6″ of snow yesterday…in TEXAS. Crazy!)
We pitched 2 tents in my sisters backyard, barbecued dinner and set up the fire pit to make s’mores. 
The kids had so much fun playing in the tents and we couldn’t get Aubrey away from her new Princess sleeping bag.
They loved making s’mores and of course Grandma & Grandpa let them eat way more than mommy would have!
Justin and I finally called it a night and took the twins home (way past their bed time) since they aren’t quite ready for sleeping in the tent. Grandma told Aubrey some bedtime stories and they tucked her in her princess bag for the night.
They next morning we all meet at Grandma & Grandpa’s for breakfast.
Everyone said it got COLD and only Aubrey & Grandpa made it the entire night in the tent. I think she might be ready for a real camp out! She has asked 100 times since then when we are going to sleep in the tent again…it really was lots of fun!
