Hello friends! I’m Nancy from A to Zebra Celebrations. If you follow me, you know I love to talk all things party! Back to school parties are popular and fun! I hosted a simple and affordable Back to School party for my girls and two of their friends a few weeks ago.
Back to school has officially started here in Arizona! I have one girl who is super excited to start school and the other one well…..not so much. It’s easy to put a smile on my girls’ faces whenever I say we are having a party!
I like finding ways to keep my parties on a budget. Most of the decorations and items are from the Dollar Tree.
Let me break it down a little more so you can see the actual amount spent for this party! Glass jars are from HomeGoods. Spent $14.99 for all 3 of them. Apples on top were a garage sale find for $1.
School gift boxes from Target in the clearance bin last year for $49 cents each. Total $2.
I bought 4 coloring books for $1 each. Total $4
Spent around $10 for school supplies and juice boxes
This wall art is from Hobby Lobby in the clearance isle for $4
These metal pencils are from Hobby Lobby as well for $4 each. Total $16
The paper wall art is from the Dollar Tree. I spent $4 and I have tons left over.
The kids enjoyed making these easy crafts!
Other things purchased:
Red tablecloth $3 from Goodwill
I made the table runner so it was about $5
The chalkboard is from Hobby Lobby for $4.99 but use your 40% off coupon and it will cost $3
I didn’t get time to add printables, tags, etc…. I kept it simple and the kids loved it!
I spent a total of $66! Good deal huh?!
