2009 was an exciting, challenging & memorable year for us. We have so much to be thankful for and have truly been blessed this past year. Some of my favorite moments this year include:
* My hubby moving his office closer to home (only 5 minutes away)
* Our twins turning 1 and watching their little personalities starting to blossom
* Experiencing Aubrey’s zest for life, her love of books & all things girly
* Expanding & improving my sewing skills. My favorite project is a toss up between the kids Halloween costumes & the puppet theater.
* My sister getting married
* My mom getting a Cricut (and it finding it’s way to my house for lots of fun projects!)
* Our week long vacation with out kids, SO nice!
* Getting to spend lots of time with my family
Now for 2010…
I recently saw an idea about focusing on a single word as the goal for the Year rather than setting “resolutions.” I really like this concept, but you know me…I couldn’t pick just one so here are 3 words that I plan to help guide me this year…
INSPIRE
PRIORITIZE
With those words in mind here are just a few things that I plan to do this year.
* CREATE lasting memories. I want to buy a new camera and learn how to take GREAT pictures to capture life’s precious moments
* CREATE a new blog design
* PRIORITIZE. I need to stop getting caught up in the rush of life and take time to sit and enjoy my family.
* INSPIRE I want to INSPIRE my family to CREATE family traditions. I want to INSPIRE my kids to be playful, curious, thoughtful and loving.
I am looking forward to an exciting 2010. I hope that our family will continue to be blessed with good fortune, surrounded by amazing family & friends and opportunities to create beautiful memories.
