Simple Easter Egg Decorating Ideas. Can I be honest? I super hate decorating Easter Eggs. The dye and glitter ends up everywhere, the store bought stickers never stick, the white crayon is a joke, and they never look pretty…and I won’t even mention the idea of hiding real decorated eggs.
That said, I have a huge supply of fake plastic eggs, but they look like everyone else’s fake plastic Easter Eggs, until now! I decorated a dozen eggs with sweet little spring vinyl in about 10 minutes total.
Supplies:
Eggs (real or plastic is fine)
You can use my pressed cut file here. Or you can measure your egg and search Cricut’s vast library and create your own totally custom Easter Eggs. Once you have created and sized your design, send the image to your Cricut to cut.
Next, weed the excess vinyl, and apply transfer tape to the image. The chicks and bunnies have a sweet little pink bow, so I used transfer tape to apply the bows, I used a second larger piece to cover the whole image.
Apply the vinyl to the eggs, and gently push out any air bubbles with your thumb nail.
