Are you watching the big game in two weeks? Do you have big plans for hosting a party or do you plan to take it easy and just enjoy it from the comfort of your own couch? No matter how you decide to watch the big game there’s no question your celebration should include Referee Coke Floats, they’re a game-winning treat!
I’m a sucker for fun themed food and drinks at parties. I think those little extra details are what make the celebration extra fun and memorable. But, as you know I like to keep things super simple and easy so I can actually spend time enjoying the celebration with my friends and family. And these Referee Coke Floats are no exception. Several years ago I created Referee Water Bottles for our Super Bowl party and they have been a game time hit year after year, but this year I decided to take it a step further with these classic treats.
Here is what you’ll need to make Referee Coke Floats:
- Mason Jars
- Black and White Referee Printables
- Whistles
- Black and White Twine
- Tape
- Scissors
- Wooden Spoons
- Sharpie
- Paper Straws
Print and cut the referee printables and wrap them around the Mason jar. Secure with clear tape.
Tread a whistle on the black and white twine and tie it to secure it around the opening of the Mason jar.
Use the black sharpie and draw game plays on the handle of the spoon.
Now it’s time to make your classic game day themed treat. Add a few scoops of ice cream to your Mason jar.
Pour the Coca-Cola over the ice cream.
Add the game play wooden spoon and a fun paper straw to complete your Referee Coke Floats and enjoy!
How do you celebrate and watch the big game? We would love to hear your favorite game day recipes and treats, tell us about them in the comments below.
