School supplies, check. New “big girl” backpack and lunch box, check. The perfect first day of school outfit, check. We are “O-fish-ally” ready for kindergarten!
Our school has a parade a few days before school starts and all the kids gather around the park to watch their teachers ride by with wild excitement for the new year. Everyone makes signs to hold up for their teacher and hopefully meet some new kids that will be in their class. When I saw these darling favors from Sprinkled with Paper I thought it would be fun make them and pass them out at the park the day of the parade and hopefully help encourage my daughter to connect with a few of her new classmates.
My sister who also happens to teach kindergarten saw me making these and declared that she “must” do this for her class. So I contacted Julie from Sprinkled with Paper and had her edit the printable to include a sweet message from the teachers, “We are O-fish-ally glad you’re in kindergarten!” How stinkin’ cute are these?!?
These are so easy to make, here’s what you’ll need:
– O-fish-al favor tags from Sprinkled with Paper
– Clear treat bags
– Goldfish
– Orange tulle or ribbon
Cut out the fish bowl and put them in the clear bags. Place a handful of goldfish in the bottom and cinch up the bag so it looks like a little baggie of fish and then tie with your orange ribbon to secure. Hand them out to your child’s new classmates or your new students and watch them enjoy!
