I am so blessed to have such wonderful, strong, compassionate men in my life. It is easy to see how special each of these men are and how lucky we are to have them.
My Grandpa Yardley is the hardest working man I know. He is a man of few words, but has a giant heart. I loved visiting the farm and running around with cousins, riding horses and driving up the mountain. My Dad is truly my hero. He is the most patient, gentle, understanding, supportive and loving man and I am one lucky girl to have him as a dad. I can always count on my dad for just about anything…he would go to the ends of the earth for his family and has been know to do the same for random strangers. I love to watch him with our children, it brings a smile to my face to know how much they are loved. I could ramble on forever about this amazing man, dad I love you!
My father-in-law is another special hero in our lives. He is quite, but full of heart and has a knack for making people laugh. He is one proud grandpa and loves to play with and spoil the kids when he visits. I am grateful for the example he set for his boys and thankful for the part he played in creating such a wonderful man that I am blessed to call my husband.
And finally I am so lucky to be married to my sweetheart and best friend. There isn’t a day that goes by that he doesn’t make me laugh (even when I don’t want to), he is incredibly patient with our children and he has a heart of gold. In our house he is better know as “fun daddy.” The kids squeal with delight when he comes home from work, they look forward to bath time, building forts, helping him take care of the garden and dancing around to oldies. He is such a great dad and a big kid at heart, I am lucky to have married such a special man.
Happy Father’s Day to the special men in our lives…We love you!
