Tis’ the season to mingle! I love this time of year because I get to do one of my favorite things, entertain friends and family! This year our schedules are super busy and finding a date and time that worked for everyone to come together for a holiday party was proving to be a major challenge. So, I got creative and decided to host a Jingle and Mingle open house Christmas party. After setting everything up I felt like something was missing so I made this fun Jingle and Mingle Shadowbox Frame to add a touch of whimsy to our party set up.
I used my Cricut to whip up this cute little sign and it took me less than 15 minutes to make from start to finish. I’m a big fan of easy projects that reuse items I already have on hand, and this is one of those crafts. Plus, once the holiday season is over you can reuse the shadowbox frame to create something new for your home.
What You Will Need:
- Shadowbox Frame from IKEA
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Vinyl
- White Cardstock
- Jingle Bells
Step 1
I started by designing a cut file that says Jingle and Mingle, which you can download here. I cut out the image with three different colors of vinyl.
Step 2
Cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside your shadowbox frame.
Step 3
Carefully center the vinyl on the cardstock and use Cricut transfer tape to adhere it.
Step 4
Fill the bottom of the shadowbox frame with jingle bells.
Step 5
Place your Jingle and Mingle image in the shadowbox and close it up.
I added this fun sign to my DIY Metallic Bar Cart for our Jingle and Mingle open house party. I love the fun pop of color and the sparkly gold jingle bells. It was perfect for our party theme and it was so easy to make. And, I only spent $1 on the Jingle Bells to make this project, everything else I already had at home.

I need to make a few of these too. I know I have a big bag of jingle bells somewhere. I hope I find them to make a few before Christmas. Thanks for the tutorial. What fonts did you use? Love it.

Oh this is such a fun idea! Wish I had seen this before my holiday party last night 🙂 But I’m still gonna do one.
