Hello! If you are stopping by from Twinkle Twinkle Little Party for the Holiday Party Hop we are excited you are here. The holidays are such a magical time of year and one of my favorite seasons to entertain. Nothing fills my heart more than bringing family and friends together to celebrate and create memories. With my house all decked out for the holidays with it’s glam farmhouse Christmas decorations, it seems like the perfect time to plan and host gatherings with the people I cherish the most. This holiday season I’m going to wow my guest with festive and impressive Tomato Artichoke Appetizers.
We all know that when it comes to entertaining, the food you serve is one of the most important parts. Food summons fond memories, brings people together and gives us a chance to bond. When I’m entertaining I like to create festive and impressive recipes, but I don’t want to spend all day slaving over them in the kitchen. This is exactly why these Tomato Artichoke Appetizers are one of my new favorite party recipes.
Growing up my mom was always planning a party or inviting family friends over for dinner. Our home was always filled with laughter and the amazing smells of food, especially during the holiday season. My mom was the ultimate hostess and always made everyone feel welcome in our home. Maybe it was because we lived so far away from our extended family members, or maybe it was because my mom was passionate about cooking, but whatever the reason she instilled a love of entertaining others in me at an early age. It’s become such a big part of my life and is something that truly brings me great pleasure and joy. No matter how busy life gets, I believe there is always time to gather together with friends for good food, great conversation and laughter that warms your soul.
But, let’s face it, the holidays can be an extremely busy and a somewhat stressful time of year. I’ve found that one of the best ways to avoid the stress of entertaining is to be prepared and plan ahead. One of the ways I make sure I’m ready for the hustle and bustle of the season is to stock up on all my party essentials at SAM’S Club, including General Mills products like Bisquick. I know that I can find essential ingredients for my favorite holiday recipes at SAM’s, and this year I can even use the holiday party planning guide on my phone to make party prep even easier.
SAM’s Club is encouraging you to find your holiday entertaining style, so you can celebrate and make an impression at any party you host or attend. It was no surprise that my personality type was Festive and Impressive. I live for the holidays and I’m always looking for an opportunity to wow the crowd with a new signature dish. I look forward to planning parties, baking delicious goodies and get excited about decorating our home to create a festive and inviting place. Although, with 3 kids in multiple sports activities, demanding work schedules, school and family life, it’s important to make every minute count.
These Tomato Artichoke Appetizers were just one of the recipes found in the Festive & Impressive section of the holiday planning guide. I knew these would be perfect for our Jingle and Mingle Christmas Party. If you are looking for a quick, colorful, bite-sized appetizer that will wow the crowd, these are a must! The combination of creamy cheese paired with the soft, golden crisp Bisquick biscuits are a heavenly combination. And, with only 6 simple ingredients you’ll have plenty of time to get ready to mingle with guest at your holiday party.
