Today was all about “discovery.” Aubrey had the pleasure of going on a date with mommy and we both enjoyed spending some quality time together. Aubrey’s friend Mason and his mommy joined us as we headed off to the Dallas Children’s Museum. With the goal of serving the unique needs of children from infancy to seven years old, MNS has created a space to stimulate a child’s curiosity through a variety of hands-on, sensory experiences that foster a thirst for discovery and knowledge.
Aubrey loved all the opportunities to explore and play. She especially loved the “Urban Farm” where she planted seeds, checked for eggs, milked the cow, tended to the horses and rode the tractor to make sure everything on the farm was in tip top shape. Her Great Grandpa & Papa would be so proud! It was such a joy to watch her today as she explored and delighted in the simple pleasure of “Discovery.”
Although I couldn’t have asked for a better day, we just couldn’t stop there. The weather was absolutely beautiful today and a trip to the park would be the icing on the cake. We rounded up the crew and headed to the park where our day of discovery continued. Parker and Piper enjoyed their very first turn on the swings. They loved it and also managed to draw lots of attention.
We had lots of fun today, tons of smiles and loads of pictures. You can see more pictures on our website.
The Dallas Children’s Museum looks like a lot of fun! I didn’t realize we had something like that in our area. We will have to check it out!
