I really wanted to have a back to school party for our friends, but life got busy and schedules just didn't permit. After a chat with a friend (thanks Allison) about creating traditions and making a special breakfast the 1st day of school, I decided to do something similar for my kids.(I'm bummed these pictures didn't turn out very well, it was a rainy, cloudy morning and I didn't have time to mess with camera settings...the kids were hungry!)All three of my munchkins started Preschool today ... 
Tattle Monster
Lately we have been having a big problem with tattling, and it's driving me crazy! We have been trying very hard to teach the kids about the importance of working together, playing nicely and most important we don't need to know every little "she took my car" or "he won't share with me!"

I can't believe that all 3 of my kiddos will be going to preschool in 2 weeks! Aubrey has been "prepping" the twins and telling them all about school and how fun it is. The twins talk constantly about school although I'm not sure they really know what's in store for them, nor do their teachers!

Camp S’more Party {National S’mores Day}
S'mores are a favorite campfire treat for young and old, and around here we love them! So I was more than happy to plan a little Camp S'mores Party to celebrate National S'mores Day!
I set up a table in the backyard with camping items I'd gathered from around the house (and my mom's) and added lots of different options to build the perfect s'more.
