April Showers Inspired Baby Shower

Shower mom-to-be with lots of love and gifts with an adorable April Showers inspired baby shower. I love entertaining, so when my sister asked me to help her with a baby shower she was throwing for a friend I couldn’t help but say yes. It has been a long time since I’ve thrown a baby shower, but I can’t think of a sweeter way to welcome a new baby than with a party!

Since the shower is being hosted this month and the new bundle of joy will arrive next month, we used the age old saying “April showers bring May flowers” as our inspiration for this themed baby shower.  On one of my many trips to Michaels I spotted the cutest April Showers themed party goods. Have you seen the Recollections™ Craft It™ party décor items at Michaels yet?  There are rows and rows of color coordinated party goods that can be used to decorate for any celebration. It is my happy place, I could seriously spend an hour just day dreaming about what projects I could create next in those aisles.

I love the fact that these April shower themed party goods were gender neutral, but still so sweet.  I’m not a fan of the typical explosion of pink for girl baby showers so I love these colorful and sweet gender neutral party goods.  I  think these would actually be perfect for boy/girl twins too!  Everything from the pretty plates to the mini milk jugs helped make this baby shower brunch special.
