First up, Apples!
If you haven’t already “oohed and aahed” over these adorable Apple Oreo’s by Shindig Parties, you simply must check out her post! I made the mini version of these last year for teacher gifts, but loved how simple these were especially using the mold she recommended…plus the presentation was just too darn cute!
Again, I used free printables from both Shindig Parties and Dimpleprints to wrap around the pencil vase.
I had some fondant leaf molds left over from another project, so I used those instead of the making the leaves out of the candy she suggested.
We took these sweet little treats to the kids teachers to help start the year off right!
Now, it’s time for an interview! A good friend of mine interviewed her daughter after her first day of kindergarten. I thought it was such a cute way to document a big moment and decided to do the same thing with my kids after their first day of preschool yesterday.
They were so excited to go to school and their answers were so funny, plus it helped them tell us about their day (because when we asked the first time they just responded with the typical ‘I don’t know’.) Here is our 1st day of school interview:

What grade are you in? Aubrey – 4 year old class, Twins – The red room
What is your teachers name? Aubrey – Ms. Monica & Ms. Tammy, Twins – Ms. Sherry
Who are your friends? Aubrey – Beatriz, Piper- Parker, Parker – Everyone
What did you learn today? Aubrey – Sharing & not to run in school, Piper – played with baby dolls, Parker – puzzles
What do you think you will learn tomorrow? Aubrey – maybe about unicorns, Piper- snakes, Parker – puzzles
What was the best part of your day? Aubrey – playing outside & gymnastics, Piper – taking my backpack and eating my sandwich and goldfish, Parker- going to school
What was the funniest part of your day? Aubrey – when I jumped over the bar at gymnastics
What was the worst part of your day? Aubrey – nothing, it was perfect!
