Hi there, Jess from Celebration Stylist again. I wanted to share my colorful Labor Day pool party with you. I have been dying to use this acrylic table again in another poolside party since my last one at the beginning of summer. I just love how you can see the water through the table and how colors really pop off of the blue pool. Plus it can get wet, which is a major must have by the pool. And what better occasion to have a pool party than for Labor Day?
I chose a bright color palette to compliment the blue pool water. The balloons in the pool are oversized 24″ inch round balloons filled with air which where so fun to hit around in the pool and looked amazing. I stuck to just drinks by the pool since food can get so messy. I didn’t want soggy food or any of it to fall in the pool either. So the food was served separately on the patio so it wouldn’t get wet.

Despite being front and center, I promise this post is not sponsored by this drink company, I just came across them at Target and thought the cans were SO cute and fit the theme perfectly. The gold pineapple is a candle that balanced out the gold of the canister on the opposite side on the tray. If you look closely, you will see that white tray in almost all of my parties. It’s just SO versatile, so here it is again. The green Pellegrino bottle was the perfect pop of green that I needed and perfectly practical for an outdoor party, especially when paired with lemon. I also had this adorable retro radio to play music. The pink poms are a super cute trim I found at a fabric store for less than $3 a yard. The pink cups are from the dollar spot at Target and are reusable plastic, made for a poolside party.

How cute!! I really like all the colors – and that radio is adorable.
So cute! Love the pops of pink and gold!
I love that you’re going bright for the end of summer celebration … will miss summer :)!
