I love, love, love a pretty wrapped package. For me getting a beautifully wrapped package is a gift in itself and today I’m talking all about Holiday Gift Wrapping Tips & Techniques that will help you achieve those perfect one-of-a-kind Christmas packages to put under your tree.
Thanks to my friends at Creativebug I learned some of the best gift wrapping tips from the Holiday Wrapping Techniques class by Lia Griffith. Lia always has such creative ideas so I was excited to take this class and learn some new tips to help me become a gift wrapping pro.
I also loved Lia’s tip to wrap the gift with extra layers like intricate cut bands. I used my Cricut to make several of these belly bands to wrap around the presents and love how extra special it made them feel.
I love learning new tips and techniques for making things beautiful and this class did not disappoint. I couldn’t believe after all these years there is an easier way to get those perfectly crisp edges and folds. Want to learn how to make your packages look picture perfect? Add Lia’s Holiday Gift Wrapping Tips class to your Creativebug library.
The key to perfectly wrapped holiday gifts is interesting paper, multiple layers, contrasting textures all tied up with pretty bows!
After you’ve spent all that time and money to pick out the perfect gift don’t you want the outside to be as perfect as what is on the inside? Personalizing and wrapping a pretty package is not only a thoughtful gesture from the gift giver it’s a great way to make the holidays just a little extra special!

I love wrapping presents, I get excited thinking about the receiver opening them. The prettier the present the better, well worth the effort. Pinning
Thank you so much Leanna! And I couldn’t agree with you more that it is so fun to watch a loved one unwrap the pretty package with the gift you so carefully picked just for them. Enjoy the holiday season!

I always have such grand ideas of really pretty gift wrapping when the holiday season approaches but I can never quite execute my ideas. I will definitely be using this post for inspiration this year.
Thanks for stopping by Anna. Just remember it doesn’t have to be complicated to be pretty, you can do it! 🙂
So much prettiness. I had no idea they were called belly band, it makes sense but I will not look at them in the same way again!
