Who’s ready for a monster sized good time?!? Host a Halloween Monster Mash party and celebrate the Halloween season in a fun and silly way with lots of extraordinary memories.
Guest are going to go googly eyed over this wickedly fun Halloween party. The bold colors, silly monsters and tasty treats are enjoyable for the whole family, and a great way to celebrate the Halloween season in a fun and silly way. Just like all of my parties I wanted something simple, inexpensive and laid back. I love hosting parties and having friends and family over, but I just don’t have tons of time to spend weeks planning. The good news is that you too can easily recreate this wickedly fun Halloween Monster Mash. Unleash wickedly fun times with Fanta® and these helpful party tips.
Set the stage for you party by designating an area as the focal point and treat station. I used my lemonade stand and covered it in black and white striped fabric. I used a colorful rug from my daughter’s room to add a little pop of color, and I thought it looked a little like a fuzzy monster.
The rest of the decorations were fairly simple. I hung a colorful circle garland and used the monster photo booth props and monster treat bags to add a colorful pop. I love using things that actually serve a purpose, like the monster treat bags, as decoration too.
This party is a monster hit with the kids because of all the fun treats. Everything was store bought and I just added a few extra things to personalize them. I bought sugar cookies, orange icing, candy eyes, and marshmallows to make silly monster cookies. I served Monster Munch in colorful baking cups and popcorn in the cutest monster treat bags.
But, what really made this party magical was the delicious Monster Mash Ice Cream Mocktail. My kids loved this special treat and even the adults had fun with it too. I’ve always wanted to try making soda pop ice cream and picked up a couple bottles of the special Halloween Fanta® at Family Dollar to give it a try. You only need three ingredients to make this ice cream and your flavor options are unlimited. Speaking of flavors, did you know that Fanta® comes in 8 FUN flavors – Orange, Grape, Strawberry, Pineapple, Grapefruit, Apple, Peach, Cherry? I decided to use the orange Fanta® because it’s my kids favorite, and it matched my bold monster color scheme for the party.
- 3 cups Orange Fanta
- 14 oz Sweeten Condensed Milk
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- Combine the orange Fanta, sweeten condensed milk and whole milk in a bowl and whisk together.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream machine and freeze as directed per your machine.
- Once it is ready place in freezer until firm
Once you’ve made the soda pop ice cream it’s time to make the ultimate Halloween mocktail. Place a couple of scoops of the Fanta® in a glass.
Next, pour a little bit more of the Fanta® over the ice cream.
Drizzle a little bit of cherry syrup on top.
Now it’s time to garnish your ice cream floats. These monster part candy skewers are what make these drinks so much fun. We bought a variety of creepy Halloween gummies and threaded them onto bamboo skewers. Add a monster part candy skewer to your Monster Mash Ice Cream Mocktail for a wickedly fun time.
This fun, family friendly monster party was full of bold colors and lots of extraordinary memories. Hi Bailey, I found those at Target during Halloween. Oriental Trading carries something similar, so you may want to check there.
