Today is the last day of school here and my sister wanted to give the teachers on her team a little gift to show her appreciation for the amazing teachers she works with. She asked me if I would come up with something and since I owe her a billion favors (and I love to make things with the Cricut) I said yes.
Here is what I came up with:I picked up some tiles at the Habitat Restore for $.79 a piece and cut out the saying “Live, Laugh, Teach” in vinyl. I cut out a red apple, added some red ribbon to tie it all together and it’s done.I thought these cute tiles deserved a grand presentation so I made some gift bags to go with it using scraps of paper I had on hand and left over gift bags from Aubrey’s party. I really like how it all turned out and hope her teacher friends to do.

Precious, as usual!!! 🙂 Did you go to the Plano or McKinney ReStore?
Mariah says
Jenny, I went to the McKinney ReStore. I LOVE that place!

These are so cute too! I’m going to do your flower project (the ones in a mason jar with alphabet letters..) but I’m going to buy fake flowers and tape them onto the end of a pen and insert them into the jar. Thank you for the ideas! I wish I were half as creative as you. I just don’t have the imagination 🙂 I wondered though… I printed the apple Thank You tags from the link you provided. But I noticed that you have these cute red rounded pieces of paper behind the THank you tags. Did you free hand those or have a stencil?
Mariah says
Thanks Kelly, we love coming up with fun new ideas to inspire others to create extraordinary memories! I used a paper punch to make the red circle behind the thank you tags. You can find the punch at most craft stores (Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, ect.)
