Hip, hip hooray it’s National Donut Day! If you are going to celebrate a made up holiday this is definitely one worth celebrating. I love doing things with my kids for these silly holiday’s. After all isn’t this where traditions and memories are made? This morning my kids woke up to a fun little surprise, donut holes all packed up with these cute free printable National Donut Day Tags.
My kids are always asking for donuts on the weekends and since National Donut Day coincided with the first day of summer it only seemed fitting that we celebrate with donuts. Of course I served them on my DIY Donut Plates.
I made some fun donut sprinkle gable boxes and filled them with donut holes. I attached the cute National Donut Day Tags that I made just for this occasion.
I love a good play on words, especially when it has to do with donuts. Several years ago I made the cutest “Donut You Know You’re a Great Teacher” teacher gifts and they have been a huge hit ever since. I decided to show my kiddos just how much I love them with these tag…and donuts.
Even though National Donut Day is almost over you can still download and print these tags and use whenever you want to create an extra special treat or breakfast for your kids.
In case you missed it we also shared tons of donut themed crafts, recipes and party ideas. But, before you pop over to check them out I have a question for you. Do you say donut or doughnut? I can never decide which one is right, but I typically always write donut. Ok, anyhow back to the National Doughnut Day blog hop and giveaway. You can see all 12 projects by visiting day 2, day 3, day 4 and day 5.
