The first thing my kids do in the morning after having breakfast is pack their snacks for school. And the first thing they do when they get home is ask to have a snack. These growing kids are constantly hungry and it seems like “snack time” is more important now than when they were toddlers. Lately I have felt like we are wasting so much money buying snack size baggies so I decided to fix that with these cute and easy monogrammed reusable snack bags.
These little snack bags will help us cut down on waste and I know they are going to be great for all of our upcoming summer travels too. Not only are they easy to make you can fill them with your favorite wholesome snacks, like Annie’s Organic Classic Cheddar Bunnies Cracker and Annie’s Organic White Cheddar Popcorn. These are two of my kids favorite snacks, and mixed together they are the perfect little after school snack.
I made these little snack bags in less than 10 minutes and had them filled with my kids favorite Annie’s snacks and ready for them when they got home from school.
What You Will Need:
Use your Cricut Explore Air 2 machine to design your kids monograms in Design Space.
Once you have your design laid out place the iron-on vinyl on the mat, glossy side down, and cut out the images.
Remove the cut monograms from the mat and remove the excess vinyl away from the image.
Center the monogram on your reusable snack bag.
Cover with a thin towel and firmly press the hot iron down on the vinyl. Hold in place for 10-15 seconds, or until image is set.
Remove the plastic film to reveal your shiny new monogrammed reusable snack bags.
This is the best part of this easy tutorial, fill your snack bag with your favorite “good for you” snack. Of course, our favorite is the Annie’s Organic Classic Cheddar Bunnies Cracker and Annie’s Organic White Cheddar Popcorn, which can now be found at your local Wal-Mart.
