This year started off kind of slow, but now I feel like things are moving at warp speed. Yesterday was the first day of spring and Easter is just around the corner. My brain is having a hard time catching up to everything moving so quickly, but fortunately I teamed up with Oriental Trading a few weeks ago to create a beautiful Modern Farmhouse Spring Mantel that’s perfect for Easter too.
My living room is one of my favorite spots in my house, especially after we added shiplap to the main wall where our fireplace sits. I love the texture it gives the wall that rises 20 feet above, and I love how fresh and clean it feels. But, more than anything I think it was a labor of love and knowing that we created such a beautiful space is what makes me happy. I especially love changing out my mantel decor for each holiday and season.
You may have recently seen my Lucky St. Patrick’s Day Mantel Decor, or maybe you fell in love with my Whimsical North Pole Christmas Mantel. Well today I’m sharing a sneak peek into my this year’s Easter mantel.
Make sure you head over to Oriental Trading Fun365 to check out all of the details and supplies I used to create this spring inspired mantel.
If you are anything like me you have TONS of plastic Easter eggs laying around, why not repurpose them and create something beautiful and fun for your Easter decor this year? You can also find the tutorial for my DIY Farmhouse Speckled Easter Egg Garland on Fun365. I love how the colors really pop with all of my other spring decor and fit in perfectly with the neutral color palette in my home.
Decorating my mantel has become one of my favorite things to do. I am a big fan of change so I love being able to switch things up and breath new life into our decor for each new season and holiday. Do you have a particular spot in your home that you love to decorate?
It looks beautiful! Turquoise is my favorite color!
