Can you believe it’s time to ring in a new year? We think 2015 was an incredible year full of exciting opportunities and lots and lots of extraordinary memories. We can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store, but one thing is certain we plan to start it off on a sweet note with these delicious Mini Pecan Brie Bites!
We are planning to stay in this year for New Year’s Eve, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be celebrating in style. And we all know the key to a great celebration is fabulous food! I’m sharing 3 easy New Year’s Eve Party Appetizers, including these Mini Pecan Brie Bites. These are so easy to make and almost impossible to resist. It’s no surprise that I’m a big fan of mini desserts. The thing I love about these tiny little desserts, like my mini Pumpkin Tassies, is the fact that you can eat them in one bite and savory all the delicious flavors at once. It’s so true, good things come in small packages.
Flaky mini sweet tart shells are filled with creamy brie and baked just long enough for the sugary goodness from the pecan mixture to melt down into the brie for a sinfully delicious treat. They are perfection in a bite sized cup. Perfection I tell you!
These creamy brie bites topped with sugar pecans are the perfect way to make sure you and your guest start off the new year on a sweet note!

- 24 mini sweet tart shells
- 1 brie wedge
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Arrange tart shells on a cookie sheet.
- Cut brie wedge into teaspoon-size bites. Place one brie bite in each tart shell.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir to combine and spoon topping onto tart shells.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
