I recently visited Calloway’s Nursery and picked up lots of unique pumpkins for my Fall Dinner Party, and I couldn’t resist filling my cart with lots of these baby boo white pumpkins. If you are looking for the best selection of fall pumpkins and autumn harvest decorations make sure you check out Calloway’s huge selection.
The first thing you need to do is take one of your small terracotta pots turn it upside down in the center of the pumpkin and trace around it.
Take a sharp knife and cut out around the circle, but make sure you don’t cut all the way through the bottom of the pumpkin.
Remove the center part of the pumpkin and scoop out all of the flesh and seeds. Give the pumpkins a bleach bath (3 gallons of water with 3 teaspoons of bleach, remove and let dry completely) to extend the life of your pumpkins.
Add natural moss or grass to the top of the pumpkin.
Next, place the potted succulent inside the pumpkin.
Fill in around the succulent with more moss or extra succulents if needed.
Finally, add a chalkboard planter stake with each guest name to the potted succulent inside the pumpkin.
I love these pretty place cards and hope they make my guest feel extra special when they join me for dinner. These would be perfect for any fall themed dinner party or Thanksgiving.
