My daughter’s school recently held a video contest for Healthy Breakfast Recipes and the budding star that she is, she asked if she could enter. Of course I said yes and we set out to figure out a healthy and easy breakfast recipe that she could make. She finally decided on Healthy Breakfast Kabobs with a Honey Cinnamon Yogurt Dip.
Who doesn’t love a kabob? The combinations are practically limitless and you can customize them to everyone’s individual taste. Plus, these are honestly perfect for our family and busy school mornings. And my favorite part about this recipe is it is easy enough for my kids to make all on their own!
We used fresh fruit, whole grain waffles, Canadian bacon and cheese for the kabobs. Thread the fruit, waffle, meat and cheese onto the skewers. Repeat the layers until your kabob is full.
Serve with the Honey Cinnamon Yogurt Dip.
These are perfect for busy school morning, but would also make great after school snacks too. What would you add to your Breakfast Kabob?
