FREE Summer Cell Phone Wallpaper

Summertime is finally here and that means it’s time for all things sunshine, fun and tropical vibes! It seems like it ‘took FOR-EVER for it to get here but I am so glad it finally did as I am ready to do some relaxing, vacationing and enjoying myself over the summer. How about you? Do you have any plans for this summer? Going on a tropical vacation? Planning a fun-filled staycation with your kids or are you just taking a chill and relaxing this year? No matter what your plans are this summer, I think we can all agree that we are glad to see Ms. Summer arrive so we can get to enjoying it.

As I was thinking about this summer, palms, sunshine & vibrant colors kept coming to mind for me, to add in my latest design and I am sure it has something to do with the fact that I just booked out summer vacation to Florida! Can.Not.Wait. 😉

Since Florida is known as the ‘sunshine state’, it seemed only appropriate to hand letter something with the word sunshine in it. After giving it some thought, I decided upon “Sunshine State of Mind” and I love how it looks done in the bright colors, different styles of lettering and with the palms accenting it all in the background. It is the perfect “SUMMER” cell phone background to have on your phone whether it helps you look forward to an upcoming vacation, reminds you of vacation memories past or simply gets you in the mood for summer!

I bet right about now you are wondering HOW to get this fun summer cell phone background on your own phone? Well no worries, my friends as I am going to show you just how easy it is to switch out and start enjoying this Sunshine State of Mind cell phone background now! The directions are simple and I am here to walk you through it and all you have to do is follow these few easy steps:

Step 1: from your cell phone, save this digital wallpaper design (below) by tapping and holding on the photo of the design. Choose ‘save image’ and it should save right into your photo album on your cell phone.

Step 2: go under settings, click on wallpaper and then ‘choose a new wallpaper’. Find the ‘Summer State of Mind‘ design on your camera roll, select by clicking it, adjust to your liking and then click on the ‘set’ button. It will then ask if you want to ‘set lock screen’ or ‘set home screen’ or perhaps you’d like to do both. Personally I just do my ‘lock screen’ (which is what you see here in this post) but you do what you like best. If you want to see it every time you look at your phone, then choose this option. If you were to choose the ‘home screen’ option it will show up behind your icon buttons on your phone – just FYI.

You got it now right? Hopefully these simple directions were easy to understand and it worked for you. By the way, I do have an I-phone and this is what my settings were called but if you have something else, the steps should be close to what I explained here. You should be able to still get it to work but please ask if you have any questions!
