Chorizo Deviled Eggs

Spice things up this Easter and turn ordinary deviled eggs into an extraordinary spiced up version of this traditional Easter recipe.

  • 1 dozen eggs, boiled
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1-2 TBSP mustard
  • ¼ cup of chorizo sausage, cooked
  • chili powder
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Place the eggs in a sauce-pan and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute and then turn the heat off, leave the pan on the hot burner for 10 minutes. Run under cold water until the eggs have cooled off.
  2. Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
  3. Remove the yolk and place it in a small bowl, put the whites on a platter.
  4. Mix the mayo, mustard and egg yolks together until smooth.
  5. Add the cooked chorizo and stir.
  6. Put the mixture in a piping bag and pipe it into the egg whites.
  7. Top with chorizo, chili powder and chopped cilantro
