I’ve made a lot of Valentines over the years and these DIY Cereal Valentines are my favorite! CEREALsly, my FAVORITE. EVER. I love anything that is practical, fun and personalized, and these babies are all that wrapped up in one cute little package. And the best part is that even though you only have a few days left before Valentine’s Day you can still whip up these valentines in no time.
First, you’ll need to gather your supplies. You’ll need:
– Mini Cereal Boxes
– FREE “I CEREALsly Like You Valentine” tags from Dimpleprints
– Spoons
– Letter Beads
– Washi Tape
– Hot Glue
Directions:
1. Sort out your letter beads and spell out the name of each child who will be receiving this awesome valentine.
2. Hot glue each letter onto the handle of your plastic spoon.
3. Use the washi tape, I used the red and white heart washi tape from Target Dollar Spot, and secure the spoon to the front of the cereal box.
4. Download and cut out the FREE tags from Dimpleprints. Secure the tag to the box with a small piece of washi tape.
5. Hand out the cutest valentines. EVER.
One of my twins will be showing up to school later this week with these personalized valentines for their friends, while the other will be handing out our GoGo Squeeze Awesomesauce Valentines. Now, before you say anything I realize that making 22 personalized cereal box valentines to hand out in class might not be the cheapest or easiest idea. That’s why I made these CEREALsly Awesomesauce Valentines this year…my twins attend a private kindergarten where there are only 9 students. So next year when they are in public school and we have to handout 44 valentines you will probably just see me running to the store at the last minute, but this year they get to take personalized DIY Cereal Valentines that are CEREALsly too cute for words!
These are seriously adorable! Great breakfast treat.

Oh can I just say that these are CEREALsly adorable! I would have loved to have seen this sooner and made them for my son’s kindergarten class. It’s so much more original than those store bought Valentines!
Cereal and cute snail mail. Love it! Winning combination!
What a cute craft for Valentine’s Day! Stopping by from SITS GIrls….

These are so cute!
SUCH a cute idea! As a kid, I loved those little boxes of cereal!!
Thank you! Me too, I always loved it when my mom splurged and got this mini boxes of cereal!
What a fantastic idea! Besides being cute, they’re way healthier than giving out more candy!
Yes, they are little better option than candy and kids love this mini boxes of cereal just as much! Thanks for stopping by
This is such a great idea! There is always so much candy and sweets running around at Valentine’s Day, it’s nice to have a healthier option! {Stopping by from The Love Nerds and SITS}
Oh my gosh, I don’t have any kids, but I can I send these to work with my husband?!? They so SO cute. Maybe I’ll just make one for myself 🙂
“Cerealsly” haha I love that! What a cute idea-thanks for sharing! Will have to pass this along to my friends with kids. Stopping by from SITS-have a great week!
This is such a cute idea! I love it, definitely one to try! Love your blog! Mez xx SITS
I definitely like Valentines that you can personalize. I love how you thought outside the box 🙂
Adorable! Thank you for posting! 🙂
I’m late to this party…but these are ADORABLE, CLEVER and CREATIVE. Honestly what kid doesn’t like a mini box of cereal? When I buy these with the intent on using them, (for a long car trip or trip to the beach) I have to HIDE them because the kids will want to eat them, even if there is a big box of the SAME cereal open in the cupboard! Ha! (Kids are 11 & 9)
Thank you for posting, this is great!
Love these! Where did you get those cute little red spoons?
Thanks Ronnie, I actually found the spoons at Target in the party section and just added the little letter beads with hot glue. 🙂
Fabulous! and very creative! 🙂
