My mom has a beautiful cross-stitch that I have always loved, but now that I am a mom it resonates on a whole new level.
So quiet down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby and
babies don’t keep!”
To me motherhood is a giant balancing act and it requires lots of fine tuning. I know that sometimes I get caught up in making sure all the wheels are turning rather than really focusing on the beauty and joys of motherhood. I’ve recently been reminded that my “babies” are growing up and these precious moments will soon be a treasured memory. I hope that I can readjust the balance and spend more time enjoying my kids and less time worrying about the dust.
My Mother’s Day wish is that my precious babies will have fond memories of the fun we have had, the adventures we take, the quite moments shared and most of all know how much they are loved!
I am so blessed to have my precious family and such excellent examples of amazing moms in my life. I am grateful for my grandmothers, mother and mother-in-law for each leading by example and sharing their talents, tips and shoulder to lean on as I journey through motherhood!
