I’ve made a lot of Valentines over the years and these DIY Cereal Valentines are my favorite! CEREALsly, my FAVORITE. EVER.
I love anything practical, fun, and personalized, and these babies are all that wrapped up in one cute little package. And the best part is that even though you only have a few days left before Valentine’s Day you can still whip up these valentines in no time.
Originally, I created these classroom valentines in 2014. With the Taylor Swift friendship bracelet craze, I couldn’t resist using my beads to give these cute valentines a quick update, including new printable tags.

One of my twins will be showing up to school later this week with these personalized valentines for their friends, while the other will be handing out our GoGo Squeeze Awesomesauce Valentines. Now, before you say anything I realize that making 22 personalized cereal box valentines to hand out in class might not be the cheapest or easiest idea. That’s why I made these CEREALsly Awesomesauce Valentines this year…my twins attend a private kindergarten where there are only 9 students.
So next year when they are in public school and we have to handout 44 valentines you will probably just see me running to the store at the last minute, but this year they get to take personalized DIY Cereal Valentines that are CEREALsly too cute for words!

I’m late to this party…but these are ADORABLE, CLEVER and CREATIVE. Honestly what kid doesn’t like a mini box of cereal? When I buy these with the intent on using them, (for a long car trip or trip to the beach) I have to HIDE them because the kids will want to eat them, even if there is a big box of the SAME cereal open in the cupboard! Ha! (Kids are 11 & 9)
Thank you for posting, this is great!
Ronnie says
Love these! Where did you get those cute little red spoons?
Mariah says
Thanks Ronnie, I actually found the spoons at Target in the party section and just added the little letter beads with hot glue. 🙂

I’m nearly 30 and love Froot Loops so much, I’d be super happy receiving one of these as my Valentine’s Day gift! These are way too cute. With the bow, spoon AND mini bowl – *plus* the mini box – if the cereal wasn’t so darn tasty – this is probably one of those gifts I’d keep for display because it’s so adorable Plus, I love a good pun! Great creation.
