FREE Hand Lettered Teacher Appreciation Print

Hello friends! Do you have any idea what is coming up at the beginning of May? I will give you a hint . . . IF you have school age children this post is for you. Alright, alright I will tell ya . . . it’s Teacher Appreciation time! This is it – a whole week set aside just to honor our beloved teachers and to help you out I’m sharing a free hand lettered Teacher Appreciation print!

FUN FACT: I don’t know about you, but when I was in elementary school, I dreamed of one day being an art teacher when I grew up. It was ALWAYS a dream of mine and everyday when I came home from school, I would head up to my room and PLAY “school” with all of my dolls and stuffed animals for hours on end! About 15 years ago, I was fortunate enough to get my shot . . . to teach at an art photography school at the college level and that’s the closest I ever got, so at least I got a go at it right?

I LOVE having a day set aside for us to take a minute and honor the teachers and the staff at our children’s schools. These people are some of the hardest workers in the world and unfortunately some of the most underpaid and under-appreciated. Remember they care for our children for the majority of their days for 12+ years . . . we NEED to love on them any chance we get and show our appreciation and to at least say a heartfelt THANK YOU!

I am here to help you out today with a new designed and hand lettered art print, with all of the amazing teachers in mind. This is a special design that can be given as an art print to a teacher or you can reduce it down and use it as a gift tag on a gift. Print it out and put in a frame to create an instant gift, or print and clip it to a clipboard, like I did here – either way you will make the teacher feel so good knowing they are making a difference!

When I was thinking about what to do for this, I decided that I should mimic a blackboard and chose to letter on black sketch paper and draw it out in chalk. I love how it came out and the look it created doing it this way. Plus after searching high and low for the perfect quote . . . I decided upon THIS one, as it really spoke to me: the INFLUENCE of a teacher can never be erased!

We all know a fabulous teacher that has influenced our lives and this is the perfect way to express it.  I’m excited to offer this FREE Teacher Appreciation art print here. I would love for you to share how you are planning to use it. I always enjoy seeing how you are using my artwork in your own lives.

Please tag Giggles Galore and Eye Candy Creative Studio in your photos because you never know, we may just share it with our readers! This “Teacher Appreciation” art print is available as an 8 x 10 FREE download.

**FREE art prints are for personal use ONLY and may not be sold or claimed to be your design. By printing any freebies, you are agreeing to these terms.

DIY Hand Painted Pendant Necklaces

The other day the temperatures in Texas started to warm up and now I'm craving all things spring.  I am ready to break out the flip flops and the brightly colored clothes.  But, if I'm being completely honest my wardrobe lacks a lot of color (I own a lot of black.) Which is why I decided to add a pop of color with some new DIY bright colored hand painted pendant necklaces . I've been working with DecoArt for a few years and one of the the things I love about working with … [Continue reading...]

Mango Strawberry Sparkling Lemonade

“This post has been sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company. All thoughts and opinions are my own.” A few years ago I made a goal to drink the recommended 8-10 glasses of water a day. To be honest, I struggled in the beginning. I even created my own DIY motivational water bottle to help me reach my goal. After a while the habit became a lifestyle change and it was no longer a struggle to gulp down those glasses of water. But, every now and then I crave something with a little something extra and … [Continue reading...]
